What we collect.

  • Email address. Required for sign-in; we send a one-time magic link.
  • Your posts. The content you publish to your feeds.
  • Payment info. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

How we use it.

To run the service: send sign-in emails, store your feeds and posts, serve them to your subscribers via RSS, and process billing through Stripe. We don’t use your data for marketing, training, or analytics.

Third parties.

Cookies and analytics.

One signed session cookie keeps you logged in. It’s HMAC-signed and contains only your user ID and an expiry. No tracking cookies, no third-party cookies.

We use Umami for privacy-respecting page-view analytics. Umami does not set cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track users across sites. We use it to see which pages get traffic, nothing more.

Your rights.

  • Export. Download all your posts as Markdown from the feed edit page at any time.
  • Delete.Delete posts or feeds from the dashboard. A deleted feed’s posts are removed from our database.
  • Account deletion. Email hello@sourcefeed.app and we’ll remove your account and content.

Changes.

We may update this policy. We’ll communicate material changes by email.
